Malory introduces (almost) everyone

-- Character Bio --
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Birthday: April 16, 2076
Description: I’m really bad at introducing myself I think. I always forget important things or focus too much on the small things. First of all, I grew up in a village that was lovely and beautiful back then, it was to me at least. I’m sad when I think about it, I mean when the things I’m used to just go away or change to be completely different, the layers that cover each other become overwhelming and scary when my brain can’t keep up, I think it feels weird when I know other people come here and they will never see and feel the same things I’ve seen and felt here. Those feelings and memories are dear to me and I don’t want them to just be gone someday when I am gone. I would mourn the feelings of walking on the winding path behind my house watching birds in the hours between sunrise till noon, exploring and hiding in the ruins and memories of others before me, walking through the streets after the sun sets and the first street lights turn on in front of the darkening cerulean sky, or simply getting lost in thought as I wander the former trackbed with the pre-war street lamps behind school.
I think that’s also kind of why I want to try to translate the feelings of each layer into sounds or drawings, like the feelings appear in my mind like images. I’m not good yet and I feel shy about singing and such, but it’s important to me and I want to try my best! Also, I somehow don’t really know how to make friends in class or hold conversations. It’s a bit lonely to be alone for so long, but I think I still want to treasure any feelings I know, since even negative ones sometimes have a beautiful visual composition. I’m sometimes not fully sure if they understand when I speak or if my words contort in the air after I let them go. I’m often not sure if my thoughts translate well into words. The other children sometimes get mean to me, and I’m not sure if I can belong, so I kind of hope that if I’m someday less scared that someone will relate to my sounds and images I create and that someone someday will be okay with being loved by someone like me.
Malory
-- How To Ward Off A Malory --
(I'm just trying to fill the weird gap between the picture above and the next character. Don't mind the gap, please! And please ignore this text!)
If you ever encounter a wild Malory inside your own territory, first of all don't panic! If she's too absorbed in her thoughts and hasn't noticed you yet, luck is on your side! Remain as quiet as possible and start to rub pizza all over your skin and your clothes! Flavour doesn't really matter much, but those with much cheese are preferred. And don't mind the weird look the lady from the other side of the street gives you, since you're looking and smelling like a dumbass (a very appetizing dumbass though)! She's probably just jealous. Then you should put on blue sunglasses. If the Malory doesn't see your eyes, she won't recognize you as human. Now, start singing a pizza song (with utmost confidence), during which you have to convince her how tasty and luscious you are. And when she's finally occupied with nibbling on your fingers you need to give her a swift and gentle headpat (if your hands are still intact that is) and she should run off flustered and in confusion immediately. Good job! Now go shower.

Seth
-- Character Bio --
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Birthday: September 23, 2075
Description: He is the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious person in the universe, and that’s all you need to know! But I can try to describe him more since it’s fun! When meeting him for the first time there is a high chance that he will be either reading or looking around the place with a lovely expression. He sort of looks like a tawny owl when he does that. And yes, unlike Elaine, he actually reads the books he owns! It somehow feels so fun to just watch his expressions change while he reads, he often doesn’t even notice it himself, but it feels like I can see every single word reflected on his face. He is readable like that. He’s a bit shy too, I’ve heard from people that he looks sort of sad, serious and distant to them, and that he looks to them like he isn’t interested in other people at all when he sits in class by himself, which is such a confusing and mean perspective to hear from them, since he’s actually always so observant of everyone and everything, he will remember anything you’ve said, which makes him so cool! He’s the most honest person I know, which feels so comforting and reassuring, and his puns always make me laugh! He never questions my feelings like some other people, and always tries his best to comfort me, just like I try to comfort him, which actually feels more straightforward than with other people, since we often have similar worries and fears, it’s somehow so easy to understand each other’s feeling really deeply, it makes me feel much less lonely!
We also often talk about the metro together, sometimes we even sneak into one of the old decrepit ones from before the war to enjoy the atmosphere and to imagine how the broken things on the floor were once placed and how the cars and people came and went. I think he’s the first person I met who actually seemed to be interested about the stations and their history as well, and he seems to get that excitement in his words when I show him the street lamps too, but even more so when we see aeroplanes in the sky! I think especially his imagination is always so impressive to me, since he can solve and understand so many unknown things just with his head as if he’s lived through them himself, maybe that’s also connected to reading the books. He told me that it’s a bit hard for him to trust others, since they’ve made fun of him for not understanding him in the past, and that’s why he sometimes is a bit cold and sceptical before knowing others well. I just really want others to see how lovely and sweet he is and that more people can become real friends with him and won’t just leave him alone again and again!
His mom has a giant stash of pizza hidden in their house. Seth goes to school from 7:30 till 14:30 weekdays. He has an especially stressful day on Friday, since he has some extra club activities before school, so he sometimes forgets to lock his front door in a hurry. Sometimes when the pizza gets bored it will wander outside onto the front porch of the neighbours, so if you ever feel like having a free pizza feel free to visit him!

He's awesome
He's amazing
He's outstanding
His head is so big and round in comparison to his body in the picture above that no clothes fit over his head and that's why he isn't wearing any.

Cory

Lynne
-- Character Bio --
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Birthday: August 27, 2078
Description:
I think she was originally born as the daughter of two zombies, at least that’s what Elaine told me, so she never underwent the usual turning process. Her body is rather fragile and her sense of pain and balance are not that developed. Elaine said that because I’m similar to her in age and since I’m gentler than the others according to her, that I should try to get closer to her and spend some time with her. But she sometimes gets hurt even in the house due to bumping into things, which I can relate to, but for her she gets hurt much severely and it takes much longer to heal, which is why she also wears long sleeved dresses and such to cover most of her limbs - to protect herself and she also told me that she doesn’t want others to see her wounds and scars. And since her left hand keeps falling off quite often, she needs to keep sewing everything together, which she is pretty good at, I mean for sewing clothes too! She also helps me with sewing and fixing my clothes!
And even though she feels emotions very strongly, she has problems with facial expressions and most of the time she doesn’t really understand what she feels herself. Also, her body is rather dead than it is alive, she moves rather slowly (like Elaine when she hasn’t had coffee yet), but her skin seems to become more greyish if she doesn’t move much, which is why for example Elaine always takes her for walks. Lynne told me that it makes herself feel like a nuisance to us, I’m not sure how to convince her that that’s absolutely not the case at all. Still, even though she is kind of a zombie, she is vegetarian and doesn't like eating brains all that much (what she does like to eat is ice cream, even in winter). Though, when she's lost in thought or thinks about her favourite topics, she often starts chewing absentmindedly on her friend's brains (or scalps), which is somehow adorable to me. Because she's drooling a lot while doing that we have to wash our hair and their brains very often, but she often offers to help us with scrubbing everything off. Sadly, she's somehow very afraid to disgust or scare us with her appearance, I often worry about her when she has those thoughts, but I’m not very good at knowing how to reassure her. But also she loves reading science novels, programming, building or repairing computers and watching people while they sleep. Because she's very responsible, careful and is quick to understand things, I often lend my newly built quadcopters to her.

No

Elaine
-- Character Bio --
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Birthday: Unknown
Description: She has cool eyes and cool hair! But I don't get to see them often, cause she hides in her office room most of the time, the one with the giant bookshelves. She loves to collect books, but she rarely reads them. I've seen some collecting layers of dust so thick you could use them to craft bushy eyebrows for every single human on earth. So, I guess she loves book collecting and dust collecting as well! But I think she does some kinds of experiments in that room. There are always new kinds of fluids stored in those old looking glossy bottles with the cork closings squished inside, and I've also seen something like medical syringes or those very sharp adult scissors lying around sometimes when I peeked inside. It also makes me shiver a bit how she always comes out of that room with bruises or band-aids. She somehow seems more forgiving when I snoop around, and she always tells the others how she wishes they were as quiet and well-behaved like me and not as hyperactive and annoying, which confuses me since I wish so much I could be more like the others. But I think she doesn't dislike them, since I think it's her who always makes the biscuits and places them on our tables every night, even on days when they've touched her stuff without her permission or disrupted her while watching the Tagesschau on tv, and even after she gets angry in a scary way. I think overall she's great at keeping order here and taking care of us!

Nameless
-- Character Bio --
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Birthday: November 03, 2072
Description: He is the brother of Alex! I don’t know as much about him, also his name never came up. He is a bit weird, but in a cool way! Alex tells me that they both aren’t really from earth and that that is why her brother can elongate all his limbs to a length of about 50 km, but that often causes accidents that break his bones, so he rarely does it! I think it’s important to know about him that he hates violence, conflict and fighting in any shape or form, even in fiction or history, so you should remember that! When it comes up in a conversation at any point he will just walk away with a neutral smile. There aren’t many people with the same mindset as him, but the one he is in love with seems to perfectly understand his feelings about that topic! It’s the third of the four sentient Gatling guns in his mom’s library. The other three don’t seem to understand their relationship and feelings and are mean about it. When I visited there last month for example, two of the other Gatling guns kept imitating shooting noises to upset the couple, while they were just drinking tea. I felt so angry at them at how insensitive and evil some could be, but I somehow didn’t know what to do. But he once told me that they would move in together after Gatling gun 3 would be pregnant, and then they'd be away from that wretched evil! I think he would be an awesome father! He has knowledge about every part of human history and is able to speak 42 languages semi-fluently, though he tends to mix up stuff a lot. His mind can stretch through various time periods at once, so he is considered to be immortal in a way, but also not really, since he can still die. He aspires to be a SID composer and has a working C64 that he got from his great grandfather from 90 years ago hidden somewhere in his house and he also inherited a ton of games. But the most amazing ability of his is that he can accurately predict when someone is about to fart and everyone adores him for that!

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Birthday: June 19, 2076
Description: She is really kind and always seems happy and full of energy! She always wakes up really early, at 6 am or so, and wakes me up like a human alarm clock with no snooze button, to ask me to join her and her brother on their morning run. She always does the morning runs no matter if it’s hurricaning, tornadoing, or apocalypsing outside. She's diligent like that, which I envy a bit! I think Alex is the kind of person who always finishes her homework on time, multiple days before it’s due, and still has time to play and exercise afterwards. Even Elaine finds it hard to get angry at her, when she does some small pranks and such, like hiding the remote control or recalibrating the keyboard devices, her smile makes it hard to harbour any ill feelings towards her. Digital stuff also never seems to faze or distract her, she always tells us how it’s bad for the eyes and body to sit hunched over in front of some device, and that “sitting is the new smoking”. I sometimes try to run with them, but they’re always so fast and don’t seem to get tired or sore at all like me, but she always keeps motivating and encouraging me, even when I’m holding them back, and I really like that about her! She also often finds stray animals on her walks and always tells me about them, she always knows how to safely interact or not interact with any creature and who to contact for such things. It makes me so excited to listen to her. Another thing I really like about her is that she always is okay with going with me to watch the street lights or anything else, she really never says no to any adventure outside and she never is bored by it, she really seems as excited as myself, and I’m so endlessly grateful for her!

Carmen

Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Birthday: Unknown
Description: I’m not sure if I like her. I felt like I related to her when we were both in first grade, she was good in school and like me she was mostly by herself, to the others she seemed to be invisible, so I kind of hoped we would get along I suppose. Though I think I never actually understood her. I kept following her around observing her from a distance whenever I saw her on school grounds or when we went on excursions. She didn’t seem sad to be alone, but her smile also didn’t look like a happy smile, she also rarely seemed to talk. She sometimes would notice me, but she would only glance over once and then return to studying and staring at her surroundings. It looked like she had a big plan or something curious like that. And while I was playing in the bushes, everything she did seemed intriguing to me, but there were also a lot of strange things that were kind of creepy to me. But they made me only even more curious and I wanted to learn more and more. To be honest that probably also sounds a bit creepy from my side, but I felt like I didn’t have anything better to do by myself. When she skipped two grades I admired her for a while. I still often came across her by chance, at competitions and the like. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was just her presence that had long contaminated my mind. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I just went up to talk to her, before her change.
